ECO PRINT WORKSHOP

Eco printing, also known as botanical contact printing, is a natural dyeing technique where fresh leaves and flowers are bundled tightly with fabric and steamed to create unique, colorful prints.

This organic, alchemical process allows plant pigments to transfer onto textiles, resulting in beautiful, unpredictable shapes and colors. The workshop features natural dyes and local, seasonal plants, making it well-suited for gardens, nature centers, art studios and other creative spaces where the wonders of the natural world is appreciated.

Participants are invited to gather their own leaves and flowers and use natural textiles such as cotton linen, silk, and wool as their canvas. The results can be used to create one-of a kind scarves, shirts, decorative panels, book covers, and more.

Eco print workshops offer a calming, creative experience that connects participants with nature. The process is earthy and gentle, guided by the colors and shapes found in plants.
